The Ottawa District Badminton Association (ODBA) is the rights holder for the Ottawa District Badminton Masters Championships.  This Masters tournament is an open badminton tournament, held annually, for participants 30 and older.  For the last 5 Masters, the tournament has been held at the RA Centre.

The ODBA was formed January 10th, 1930 as a governing body to control Ottawa badminton affairs.  In the 1940's the sport of badminton suffered a severe downturn and ODBA was no different.  ODBA in effect ceased to exist until 1955 when dave Waddell put a lot of effort into reviving the sport of badminton in the region and again getting ODBA up and running.

Majority of the participants are from the Ottawa region, competing as the title holders for one of the age categories: 30+, 40+, 50+, and 60+.
